I think more went into these two little girls mouth's. I didn't blame them the small strawberries were better than eating straight sugar! They are oh so good.

Raspberry picking...

We went out to Kruger's Farm again and enjoyed picking the last of the sweetest strawberries and the new season of raspberries. Strawberry season doesn't last long out here but when it is around they are oh so good! It was a fun family day with some good friends.

It was a test!

It was a test....today she was invited to go to VBS with a friend. (Ava) I told her to sleep on it to really see if she wanted to go...and this morning the first thing she asked to do was to go!
It was a test....to see if she would be ready to go to preschool in September....
It was a test....to see if she could separate from me for half the day.....
It was a test....for me to see if I would cry...
It was a test...for me if I could find something to do with myself for 4 hours....


I am happy to say we all passed!! I did not cry. She did not even look back ( I had to go get her to give her a hug goodbye one last time). I found enough to do during that time (grocery shopping).
I feel she is ready to go to preschool which makes me tearful now....where did this time go...it was just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital.

She however missed her dad greatly. As she hugged him she said "I will never let you go" "I will never leave you"

She is really becoming a Daddy's girl!

okay...well..we didn't make seeing the Reptile Man today. Decided to stay home and nest. Cleaned morning long and then just played with my little girl. We laughed and read books and she made me food from her stove.
I had my doctors appointment again this afternoon. I am 1 1/2 cent. dilated she says (close to 2). We are still hoping to make it to the 20th of July...but I just have this feeling that I will go sooner...don't know why...maybe because I just don't sit down like I did with Madison...this time I am always doing something with a 3 year old around.

Dave has also gained some pregnancy weight just to make me feel better....this was taken last week (35 weeks) he's put on a couple more pounds since then too! He still looks handsome!

He's even starting to look into triathlons now...nothing stops him does it! We are oh so proud...if he can do a triathlon then he can handle 2 girls around this house....or maybe he is trying to escape! I better go ask him!

And the movie was....

And we choose.....Space Chimps! It was cute...the movie was good. I was surprised how much popcorn costs now at the movies. We got a small popcorn for $6.00. Guess I haven't been to the movies that much these past couple of years.
Before we left we both had to pose for the camera a little...it was fun!
We got home and she decided she just wants to read in her room and not have lunch...who is this girl? Just checked on her and she is all bundled up in blankets on her bed reading/looking at pictures of a scooby-doo comic book. She was so excited when the librarian told her yesterday that she could just keep the comic book as the cover was torn. Anything scooby-doo and she is in heaven. She said scooby was with us at the movies...as we left she tried to get me to go back in to get him...says we forgot to take him back home with us... (guess I might have to subscribe to scooby doo comic books now)
Here I am at 36 weeks! Almost there!!!!

busy busy day.

Oh what a day! We enjoyed going to Dr. Seuss Carnival Kick-Off at the library. It was a fun filled morning of games and crafts to kick-off summer reading program. She enjoyed a sack race, fishing, candy walk, and obstacle course among just some of the games.. She also enjoyed getting her face painted. Madison loves to read. We ready more than 5 hours a week. When she gets to 5 hours she gets to go into the library and pick out a toy. We seem to bring home many many books and have them all read in two days!
We then went to get her hair cut. She wanted it just like her cousin Sara!
We then went to another library (one in our small town) just to return some books I forgot to do at the other library. Well after picking out more books there happened to be a juggler there....so of course we had to stay and watch. It was SO great! Jake the juggler did a great job and even did some magic! Madison was so excited. What a GREAT DAY! Forgot to bring my camera but I'll remember next time...

Tomorrow is free movies at two theaters around here. They do free movies two days a week all summer long. It is a toss up between Madagascar 2 and Veggie Tales...I think she is leaning toward the Madagascar 2.

Thursday is Reptile Man...I will definitely bring the camera!

35 weeks now and feeling good...eating all the time. Hoping that the doctors are right that this is a girl....all we have is PINK! and the room has FLOWERS! on the wall. Went to the doctor today and all is well. Planning to induce on the 20th of July but I really don't think I will make it until then. We will see....
Today Madison was stuck on why???? she kept asking why for EVERYTHING!!!! It was draining for me and her dad...

Nothing much here today....spent the day outside weeding and planting bushes. The weather was wonderful. Not too hot .... just right! Madison was outside before me 8:30 am playing on her swing set. She LOVES it! She will just go and swing and have lots of fun. She has been out there all day. She is now out there with Dave at 5:30 pm. She goes nonstop!

The picture of the bird is from my new house guest. It is the coolest bird. It is a violet-green swallow. It has some babies in our bird house!

Strawberry Farm...

We enjoyed a fun filled day at the Strawberry Farm picking some wonderfully ripe strawberries! It was a lot of fun! Now what can I bake with strawberries??? Strawberry scones tonight!

OH SO PROUD!

We are oh so proud!! We had a great day cheering on Daddy today! He did GREAT! He ran 13.1 miles a HALF MARATHON!! It was his first and I am sure it will not be his last. It was a hilly course but nice (out in the country). Here are some pictures of the big event. He ran it in 2 hours and 15 mins.

We went out to chucky cheese last night. Madison SO enjoyed herself. When we arrived she was so surprised as we didn't tell her before hand. She said "We are going as a family!" She was so tired after but really enjoyed it!
I have been getting ready for her birthday this year. I am afraid it will sneak up on me if I don't start planning it now. It is all about Scooby Doo this year!
