Madison and I went out the other night...It was so nice. We went out to Starbucks for hot chocolate and ice tea and then enjoyed getting a pedicure. It was so nice. We both have bright red toes now! It was a nice special time just the two of us. Isabelle and Dad did just fine and they enjoyed themselves too!

Poor little Isabelle was just laying there as cute as can be...only 5 weeks old and getting blamed for something.

Getting the calendar all ready!!! The month of September is already packed! We are going to be busy with school and gymnastics.
Went to gymnastics today...she had lots of fun. Then stopped off for a few groceries when a lady came up to me and asked how old Isabelle was and when I told her....(thinking she was going to give a nice compliment) she jumped all over me saying there are germs and I should not be bringing this little baby out.... PEOPLE!!! Unbelievable! She just kept going on and on and not at the right time either....Madison was touching all the donuts so needless to say we bought some and Isabelle was SCREAMING... AGHHHHH! I really wanted to have an out of body experience....Just looked at the lady and imagined I was not there... but I was very thankful to Madison as I really needed those chocolate donuts....they are my favorite now! She knew her mom needed chocolate on a day like today!

We had success!

We had success! She slept in her crib from 10 to 3 am! Yeah! On her back....before she was in a car seat... We are so proud of her. It felt very good to sleep almost 5 hours! Wow! Going to run a marathon today! I actually got to enjoy a full cup of coffee and relax this morning...usually I run around here and my coffee is cold all the time or left in the microwave waiting for me. Madison is sleeping good too! Had some time to myself...hoping if this continues I might be able to scrapbook again soon.

cleaning day today!

Trying to clean today...was going to try to get out of the house and do some errands but decided to just try to clean. We are all enjoying a day home today. I am trying to get Isabelle to sleep in her crib. We are successful this afternoon! Yeah! It is the little things that bring me joy! Before this she would sleep in her car seat or just in a little reclining chair or laying on my chest. I would like to brake her of this and get her to her crib more often. So today is the day! Yeah! Hopeful tonight will be much better!

We are all really having fun around here. I am starting to feel the groove...maybe it is from lack of sleep but I am feeling something. Having a second child has not slowed us down around here maybe it changed things but we are still out enjoying life and all it has to give us.
We got our first grin from Isabelle..she is growing so much. Already outgrowing some clothes. She moans/groans all the time. When she is hungry she really lets you know and she wants it NOW.
Still up every 3 hours at night except last night it was every 2.
Madison is really growing too. She has been so good lately very polite, no arguing, plays nicely, and is very helpful. She loves her sister so much. She thought she heard us say something about getting rid of Isabelle and she just started crying...of course we were talking about getting rid of clothes of Isabelle's that she has outgrown.
Madison is involved in gymnastics and LOVES it. It has been so nice to see her out there running around. Tried to get some good photos. Went to gymnastics yesterday and then enjoyed an afternoon at the park..
We went to the fair the other day and she enjoyed the rides and of course a corn dog!

Madison enjoyed the sea lions right off the pier, taking Sydney into the water, and the much much more...

First big family trip....to the coast!

We took off to the coast this weekend to get away. We all had a wonderful time and the weather was great. Our hotel was right on the beach just a walk down the stairs. It was a much needed vacation for me and I am sure for everyone else as well. We enjoyed the aquarium and walking the pier and having clam chowder. The beach was by far the favorite of Madison's. We would run in and out of the water. Never got our sand castle finished.
They found a great white shark on the coast this same weekend too. Not at our beach but close. The water has been warmer lately and so the sharks are following the salmon which is bringing them closer to shore. Glad I found this out after I got back home.
We also enjoyed sampling ice cream at the cheese factory on the way home.
We are now getting settled back at home and trying to get on a routine.

Been a busy couple of days...rough nights but fun days...

We went school shopping with Madison...can't believe she will be going to school. She is disappointed it is only for 3 days not everyday.

Some people say that there kids are eating them out of there house and home...mine...she is just eating our home! She has been putting everything in her mouth. We think it is a comfort thing as it seemed to start about 3 months before Isabelle came and it has continued. Well today I noticed she has chewed the window sill...yes that is right!

We didn't make a big deal out of her putting things in her mouth before but now....it has got to stop! Can't have her eating the house!
