Well...it has started...the unsolicited comments on my pregnancy begin. Today I got up for church feeling good. Put on a pretty dress, got a nice comment from my husband AND daughter on how nice I looked. Then...I wasn't even 5 feet inside church and a lady came up to me that I barely know and said "You look bigger today than yesterday." Huh....how does one respond to that. I am sure she meant well but really how does one respond to that...ahh yes..."You look bigger too" that is what I was really thinking but nope I just smiled politely. Why is it...it is women that feel they need to respond on someone's size. We have all been then and know it is no fun getting bigger even though we know it is for a wonderful miracle to have a baby but yet we find great pleasure telling people that they are getting big or wearing fat jeans or all the other things to do with weight. Instead can't we as women just say something nice maybe about the clothes and leave weight/size out of the conversation??
Really...women are our own worst enemies in weight. Please just remember if you can't say anything nice DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL!!
